I love when all of my kids are home – if each one brings a friend or two, even better
I grew up in Alexandria, VA but I’ve been a Gamecock since I was young – my dad was a Gamecock football player and my mom was a cheerleader
I've been a Bruce Springsteen fan since high school and have seen him in concert 10+ times
I love portrait photography, but started LLP as a sports photographer, mainly because I loved taking action shots at my kids sporting events.
I've got a killer sweet tooth and will detour miles out of the way to hit my favorite bakery when I'm on that side of town - Tiffany's in Northeast Columbia
I’ve called Columbia home since my college days at the University of South Carolina, where I met my husband. We’ve been married for 30+ years and are proud Gamecock fans - we’ve had season tickets since we graduated, and fall Saturdays almost always mean tailgating with friends.
When I’m not behind the camera, you might find me with a good book (I love historical fiction and suspense), taking a pilates class, or catching up with friends over lunch. I’m a big believer in long talks, laughter, and making time for the people who matter most.
Family is everything to me - our son is a software developer here in Columbia (and getting married soon!) our oldest daughter is an engineer in Charleston and a marathon runner, and our youngest is a junior at USC where she’s majoring in biomedical engineering and minoring in dance (what a combination, right?!). With the kids mostly out of the house, my husband and I are excited to do more traveling and make new memories together.
I've loved photos and the memories behind them for as long as I can remember - I started keeping scrapbooks at age 13. At most gatherings I’m the one you’ll hear calling out, “Wait! Let’s get a group picture!” I love meeting new people and hearing their stories and can’t wait to connect with you.

Lyndsey Livingston began capturing special moments professionally in 2016 and quickly found her passion in senior portraits. A graduate of the University of South Carolina’s School of Journalism, Lyndsey built her early career in advertising - first at an ad agency, then in sales and TV production for local stations and cable networks.
Lyndsey is passionate about giving back to her community and regularly donates her photography services to local charities. Her work is featured annually in Family Connection of SC’s LOOK! photography exhibit, and she has contributed sessions to the Make-A-Wish Foundation, District 5 Foundation, and the Junior Women’s Club. She has also served as a mentor in Richland District 5 and volunteered in various PTO and SIC leadership roles.
Known for her bright, bold, and true-to-life style, Lyndsey has photographed hundreds of seniors on the University of South Carolina campus and throughout the Columbia area. She is passionate about making every session a fun and stress-free experience, guiding clients through natural poses so they feel confident and comfortable in front of the camera. Her goal is simple: to create images that are authentic, personality-filled, and that truly celebrate this season of life.

Lyndsey did an amazing job on our son’s college graduation photos. He had initially not wanted to have pictures done but changed his mind after talking with her. The results speak for themselves.

Lyndsey photographed my daughter for professional headshots for her musical theatre college auditions. She took many photographs, with several backdrops and poses. Fast turnaround on the picture delivery and all of the pictures we received were of great quality and captured my daughter’s smile and personality perfectly.
